Chapel is a regular event in which the Biola community gathers for worship and teaching.

History

Students have been involved in chapel planning to various degrees throughout the years. In 1970, The Biolan says students were responsible for four chapels per week. The 1974 Biolan lists a chapel committee among AS leadership.

Current Structure

Regular Chapel

Since fall 2008, this chapel meets in Chase Gymnasium on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m.

Talbot Chapel

This chapel meets in Calvary Chapel on Tuesday mornings at 9:30.

Singspiration

This chapel meets in Calvary Chapel on Sunday nights. It consists almost exclusively of praise music.

AfterDark

This chapel meets in Calvary Chapel on Wednesday nights.
