Charles A. Kilwinski

Charles graduated in 1916, and then went to do missionary work among Indians in Arizona. In 1919 he sent the sad news, "that the Indian school and living quarters were burned to the ground December 21." The report goes on, "The loss is a serious one as the winter supplies were destroyed together with all the personal effects of the workers and many of the students." Furthermore, "the temperature has been runing at about 10 degrees below zero and many of the students have inadequate clothing."The King's Business, Vol. 10.3, March 1919, pg 118, http://www2.biola.edu/kingsbusiness/view/10/3/23

A much longer report about work among the Navajo's in Arizona can be found in the December 1918 issue of The King's Business.http://www2.biola.edu/kingsbusiness/view/9/12/38 This report does not mention Charles specifically, but it gives the history of the work in which he became involved.
