Class of 1940

Eighty-nine students graduated from Biola in 1940 - the largest thus far in Biola's history. They chose to "enlist in the service of Christ...equip themselves in six varied courses of training...and conquer in Christ's strength."<ref>The Biolan, 1940, p 31</ref> The class song was "In Christ's Stead" by Melvin Friesen.<ref>The Biolan, 1940, p 40</ref>
