Marilyn Horne
Marilyn Horne was a world-famous mezzo-soprano classical singer who performed in a special concert at Biola. After Crowell Hall was built in the '60's, she was the first guest artist to perform a full concert in the Lansing Auditorium. Faculty present recall that the hall was filled to capacity and there was standing room only in the back.
