Elizabeth Foth

Elizabeth graduated in 1916. Sometime after this she went to Altoona, PA and became engaged in serious missions work there. She tells of it in a letter written in 1921, "I am engaged in City Mission Slum Work in Altoona, Pa. I was alone on the field over a year. God blessed the efforts, the work was growing, am glad to say to the Glory of God, that over 100 souls surrendered their lives to the Lord in the last two years. To Him be all Praise and Glory. Again the Lord answered prayer and has sent a lady worker to help me. We are now praying that the Lord may send a family to the field, a Spirit filled man, who will preach the full gospel. We have had volunteer workers thus far, mostly from the Calvary Baptist and M. E. Church. But we need some one who can devote his full time to the work. Possibilities as well as responsibilities are great. Our Mission is the only protestant church on a hill of three thousand people."The King's Business, Vol 12.4, pg 333
