Not even a year after graduating in 1920, Ella became very involved in ministry work in Cape May, New Jersey. She states, "Since September 19th I have held two Bible classes a week here. Also am a substitute teacher in the Baptist Sunday School and have been instrumental in leaing eleven to the Lord in the Sunday School classes which I have taught."The King's Business, Vol 12.4, pgs 333-334
