E.A.K. Hackett was one of the signers of the Articles of Incorporation, he was also on the board of directors from 1910 through . Hackett died on August 28, 1916. Mrs. Hackett sent out a card in his memory for Easter 1917, which was republished in memoriam in The King's Business Vol. 8, issue 6, p. 500, where Hackett was described as "one of the most faithful of the directors of the Bible Institute." http://www2.biola.edu/kingsbusiness/view/8/6/21
