Dorothy English

Dorothy English ('36) donated the largest one-time gift to Biola in the school's 100-year history.

Engligh graduated from Biola with a degree in Christian Education. She lived a simple life, planning one day to give back to the school. In 2002,she donated $8.5 million to the University and a wing of the McNally campus was named in her honor.<ref>Biola Web site http://100.biola.edu/index.cfm?pageid=74</ref>
