The Tolkien Group is a group in the Morgan House of the Torrey Honors Institute. It was created in 1997 as part of the Second Generation of Torrey students, together with Chesterton, Ignatius, and Sayers. It is named for J.R.R. Tolkien, one of the Inklings. As of 2009, it is on the cusp of its fourth cycle.
