Introduction

Zoom polls allow meeting hosts to ask participants questions with pre-defined answers in order to quickly gather and aggregate participant responses. Polls can be launched by a meeting host or co-host, but poll questions can only be made by the meeting's original creator.

Join your course's Zoom Meeting* on your laptop/desktop computer in the classroom.

Do not connect your computer's audio when joining the Zoom meeting.

Connecting your computer's audio will create an audio feedback loop and generate a painfully high pitched sound in the room.

Click the Polling option .

Note: If you don't see the Polling option , you'll need to reclaim host rights using the instructions to the right.

How to Reclaim Host Rights:

1	Click the Participants menu option.
2	Click the More option at the bottom of the pop-up window.
3	Click Reclaim Host.
4	Hover your mouse over the Zoom Classroom name on the participant list and click the More option that appears.
5	Click Make co-Host

Select the drop-down menu button from the top of the Polling window and select your desired poll.

Note: If you didn't create the poll questions in advance, you'll need to create them now.

Step	What to do	What it looks like
1	To create new poll, click Add a Question Zoom will open a browser window for you to be able to create your poll(s).
2	Type a poll title, question and answers.
3	Click the + Add a Question button to add additional polls (if desired).
4	Once you have created all desired polls, click Save. You will be taken back to the Zoom Polling pop-up window.

Click Launch Poll.

Click the Open All Rooms button.
