Biblical and Theological Studies

About the Program

The Biblical Studies Major gives students a foundational knowledge of the history, literature, and theology of the Old and New Testaments, as well as biblical, systematic, and historical theology. Additionally, this major provides tools and methods for further biblical and theological studies, helping students prepare for ministry. It is an excellent choice for those who want to continue their education in seminary or graduate school.

Mission

The Mission of the Department of Biblical Studies Degree (BA) is to provide the student with a foundational knowledge of the history, literature, and theology of the Old and New Testaments, of systematic and historical theology, and of methods for further biblical and theological studies – equipping men and women in mind and character to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.
