Purpose
The Canon HD video camera (with included accessories) is ideal for filming events both as a mounted and handheld device.

How to Set It Up
| Step | What to Do | How It Looks |

| 1 | Set up the tripod by unclipping the legs and extending them. |   |
| 2 | Unlatch the tripod mounting plate by pressing on the silver latch. |
|
| 3 | Screw the plate onto the bottom of the video camera. |
|
| 4 | Reattach the plate and video camera to the tripod. |  |
| 5 | Open the side screen and the camera will turn on automatically. |  |
Camera Functions
| Function | What to Do | How It Looks |

| Record | Press the red and silver record button. You should then see the red recording circle appear on the camera screen with a recording time readout. |
|
| View recorded videos | Click the play button on the side of the camera. Navigate the menu of recorded videos (or “scenes” as the camera calls them) by using the touch screen. |

| Charge the battery | Plug in the provided power adapter to the side of the camera. The battery should begin charging and you will see a red charging light. |  |
| Transfer videos to a computer | Plug in the provided USB-to-Mini-USB cable. |  |
| Display on a TV | Our video recording kit can be combined with our TV cart kit to display the camera’s captured image onto the TV screen with the provided HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cable. |  |
