Week of June 29 - July 3rd
Complete lecture and discussion room designation, how many of each kind of room are needed (from BURT faculty teams)
Submit purchase orders for equipment
Develop solution for addressing non-standard hyflex and remote instruction situations
June 29 - 30 (from BURT)
University-wide plan prioritization review and finalization
Plans will be presented to BURT and Cabinet for approval on logistical and expense related decisions
July 1st - Activate plan. Provides 8 weeks total time for all development work and implementation
Week of June 22 - 26
Continue tours and demonstrations
Order equipment to ensure Biola has camera and mic equipment for the fall.
June 25th - Obtain pre approval to order equipment
June 26th - Faculty groups finalize plans
Week of June 15 - 19
June 15th - Review with IDs feedback from initial faculty teams meetings from June 8 -12
June 17-19th - Faculty groups conduct a mid-point meeting w/ Deans
Provide tours and demonstrations
June 15th - Tour with Talbot’s BURT faculty group
Collect and process feedback, goal of developing a recommendation
Review outcomes of the “Fall 2020 Physical Distancing Classroom Placement Simulations” with the Registrar and Facilities
Week of June 8 - 12
Test Classrooms #1, #2, and #3 installed, configured, and tested (pending arrival of equipment)
Business 102, Classroom #1, Owl Labs Camera (Round Table Discussion)
Business 103/104, Classroom #2, Crestron Zoom Room
Business 105, Classroom #3, Logitech Brio, Plug and Play Solution
Setup multiple Zoom Room configurations
Develop feedback mechanism for engaging with faculty teams
Schedule tours and demonstrations: Walkthrough Appointment Calendar
Week of June 1 - 5
Test remote instruction scenarios identified and documented
Classroom #1 - Simple USB Camera and Mic Solution
Classroom #2 - Integrated Zoom Room Solution
Include additional monitor on podium for managing participants
