Creating an Editable Slide


Introduction

When creating a slide for a digital sign, you can design either a static image slide or an editable slide.

This page explains the steps for creating an editable slide. This allows you to go back and change the contents of the slide within the Digital Signage software, without having to modify your image file and re-upload it to the digital signage server.

 


How to Create an Editable Slide

1In a web browser go to apps.biola.edu/signage. 
2Click on the sign menu icon icon.

Click on the sign you want from the drop down menu.

Click on the menu link to create a new slide for this sign.

 

5Enter a title for the slide.
6Select the department you want the slide to belong to.
7Select the option.
8Click Save.

 


How to Add a Background Image to the Slide

Choose an image file.

Tip: Here's how to create a custom image file.

2Then click Save at the bottom right of the page.
3You can fade out the background image by applying an overlay color with transparency.
4Type your content into the editor window.
5Make sure to click Save when you are done.
