Creating an Editable Slide
Introduction
When creating a slide for a digital sign, you can design either a static image slide or an editable slide.
This page explains the steps for creating an editable slide. This allows you to go back and change the contents of the slide within the Digital Signage software, without having to modify your image file and re-upload it to the digital signage server.
How to Create an Editable Slide
Step | What to Do | How It Looks |

1 | In a web browser go to apps.biola.edu/signage. | |
2 | Click on the icon. | |
3 | Click on the sign you want from the drop down menu.

4 | Click on the + menu link to create a new slide for this sign.

5 | Enter a title for the slide. | |
6 | Select the department you want the slide to belong to. | |
7 | Select the option. | |
8 | Click Save. |
How to Add a Background Image to the Slide
Step | What to Do | How It Looks |
---|---|---|
1 | Choose an image file. Tip: Here's how to create a custom image file. | |
2 | Then click Save at the bottom right of the page. | |
3 | You can fade out the background image by applying an overlay color with transparency. | |
4 | Type your content into the editor window. | |
5 | Make sure to click Save when you are done. |
