NoMAD

Biola IT uses NoMAD to sync user account passwords with a user's NetID account on Biola-managed Mac computers. This service is needed when a user changes their NetID password and wants the password updated on their Mac computer as well.

Important Service Notes:

  • The service requires access to the Biola network using a wired or wireless connection on campus or by using Biola's VPN (Cisco AnyConect) to sync your password.
  • The service should show as signed out when you are not connected to the Biola network.
  • The first time you log in to your computer, a sign in prompt will appear on your computer asking you to sign in to NoMAD. Once you've signed in, you'll see this icon on your computer's menu bar (colors may vary).
