How to Assign Scheduling Privilege in Zoom

Introduction

Scheduling privilege can be given when one Biola Zoom user account needs the ability to schedule, host, edit (Create polls or pre-assign breakout rooms) on behalf of another user. This is often used in the scenario of a department Admin scheduling on behalf of users in the department or a class taught by multiple Faculty sharing a single Zoom meeting.

Scheduling privilege may be needed when:

  • A department Admin needs to schedule meeting on behalf of other users in the department.
  • A class taught by multiple Faculty shares a single Zoom meeting where all Faculty need to be able to pre-assign breakout rooms or create Polls in advance.

StepWhat to do
1Navigate to biola.zoom.us/setting.
2Log in using your NetID & password.
3Press the + button next to the Assign scheduling privilege to section.
4Type the Biola email address of the individuals you would like to give the ability to schedule/edit meetings that are owned by your Biola Zoom account.
5Click Assign.

Note: These individuals should now be able to view meetings that are owned by your Biola Zoom account, host them, pre-assign breakout rooms as well as pre-create polls.
