Google Drive

Google Drive is a file storage service available to the Biola community through Google Workspace. It stores Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, etc., and can store files created on a desktop or mobile device.

Users can sync files to/from their Google Drive manually (see support documentation links below) or automatically by using Google Backup & Sync.

How do I get access to Google Drive?

Google Workspace are automatically created for Biola Students, Staff and Faculty and include the Google Drive service.

If you believe you should have access to a Google Workspace account but do not have one, please contact Biola Tech Support. For contact information, methods, and hours please visit our Biola IT Technical Support page.

How do I get a Google Shared Drive?

Google Shared Drives are not currently available for widespread public use. They are used at Biola to,

  1. Back up a departing employee's computer data and share it with their supervisor.
  2. Store files in a department email account that multiple department employees will access.
  3. Facilitate specific educational needs that reviewed and approved by Biola IT.
